Why Are We Sitting Here Until We Die?

I have been thinking a lot lately of my life and how I would change things if I could just go back. When I read the blogs that others write I see a similar desire runs in most of us. However I don't like to have pity parties so I began to analyse where my thoughts came from.

Then I remembered the old song "I went to the enemies camp and I took back what he stole from me"

As I began to think "Where did that song come from?" it came from 2 Kings Chapter 7 where the 4 leprous men had a (light bulb moment), we are dying anyway why don't we go to the enemy camp and see if we can get some food? Then God backed them up with a miracle. Their reaction to this blessing leads to the rescue of the whole city from starvation.

After that I itemised all the things I perceived to be missing/stolen from my life to demand them all back. As I took this all to God though He seemed to be saying "But Jennifer what is really missing?"

The thing that really goes missing from my life that I must take back from the enemy camp is "MY CONFIDENCE" not all the time but sometimes when I experience a sequence of setbacks in my life its not the stolen goods I need to recover it is MY CONFIDENCE. My belief in the One who made me in my Mom's tum.

I have come to the conclusion that I do not want to be the Officer who was trampled in the gate because of his unbelief "Now look if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?"

Well yes it can! My God is well able to reverse the curse of any setback. I pray that He will do it right now for you and for me.

We all need a light bulb moment because .....
